Random Acts of Kindness go a long way. Elaina often did this in her daily life: packing a lunch for her teacher and leaving it at her desk, knowing she was short on time to get to the cafeteria; offering advice and encouragement to her Snap and Instagram followers; buying Starbucks for her mom and sisters; saving a turtle crossing a busy road; and rescuing baby possums who lost their mom.
In her tribute, we do random acts of kindness for others such as buying Starbucks for the cars behind us, paying for someone’s gas, and buying someone’s groceries. When we do the random act of kindness, we explain Elaina’s story and give the person one or two of Elaina’s bracelets. One is for them to wear and one is to pay it forward and continue the chain of kindness.
