One of Frankfort, Kentucky’s worst floods in history brought major damage across the community. Elaina’s mom, Heather Mammen, led a crew that helped neighbors clean up after the flood. Some residents lost their homes completely, and other homes were condemned. The GLOW Project, along with Heather’s company Glow’N’Grow, sent volunteers to multiple homes and also organized a water, toiletry, and cleaning-supply pickup area for people in need.
